Nestled under the swaying birches, The Sauna at Hewn Yorkshire is a private space to create your own ritual.
Move between gentle heat and reinvigorating cold, with down time in between to sit calmly and enjoy the view.
Sauna is about more than heat.
It’s a simple ritual of warming, cooling and resting; repeated at a rhythm that feels right for you. Crafted by Kirami in Finland, The Sauna brings a little of this Finnish tradition to our peaceful corner of Yorkshire.
There’s no single right way to sauna. Spend as long as feels comfortable in the heat, step outside to cool down, rest, hydrate and return when you’re ready. Repeat the cycle as often you wish, allowing time between rounds to cool down.
The Sauna includes a cold drench shower, outdoor deck and loungers. Spa towels are provided (two per person), along with changing facilities and drinking tap water, with the entire space private to you throughout your session. Please note, at this time we have no toilet facilities available at The Sauna.
Ready to slow down?
The Sauna is open to everyone, whether you’re staying with us or simply visiting for a session. Afterwards, take your time with a stroll through The Meadow before heading home.
